I started my woodworking career 15 years ago when I submitted my custom cabinet proposal for a high school senior project. My grandpa who was also my mentor had me rip apart a bunch of old wood pallets and laminate them together usable panels. With enough sanding, staining and varnishing, the old wood actually started to look brand new. I never would have guessed the old crusty pallets my grandpa convinced me to use could be used to made into beautiful, functional furniture. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with the art of woodworking and have devoted myself to the pursuit of knowledge and craftsmanship.
